Best dessert for peanut butter and chocolate lovers. Crunchy, gooey, tasty peanut butter brownies are super easy to make and I dare you to not eat it all in one day.

It’s pretty easy to bake too. Just mix the ingredients in the order directed and bake. Make sure you warm up the peanut butter so you can add it to the top easier and make beautiful swirls with a spoon. Or you can just add it in chunks.

I loved crunchy peanuts on top and I used salty ones because of the flavor enhancement but you can use non salty too.

If you are a brownie lover, you are welcome to take a look at my regular brownie recipe that I enriched with raspberries, almonds and chocolate drops on top. Just click here.

Peanut Butter Brownies

Cook Time 1 hour
Servings 1 baking tray (36x21,5 cm)

  • 150 grams of flour
  • 1 tea spoon of salt
  • 2 table spoons of cocoa powder
  • 310 grams of dark chocolate
  • 150 grams of butter
  • 150 grams of peanut butter
  • 200 grams of granulated sugar
  • 200 grams of brown sugar
  • 5 eggs

  • 100 grams of peanut butter
  • 80 grams of salty peanuts

  • Put chocolate, peanut butter and regular butter in a pot and melt it on low heat. Stir and make sure it doesn’t start to boil.
  • When it is melted, add in sugar and check that the mixture is not too hot (wait and cool it down if it is), because now you need to whisk in eggs, one by one.
Put flour, salt and cocoa powder in a bowl and stir then add it to the chocolate mixture while whisking.
  • Pour the batter in baking tray with baking paper. I used baking tray size 36x21,5 cm.
Now you can drip and swirl peanut butter with a spoon on top. Just heat it up a bit before so it will be liquid and run smooth. Sprinkle peanuts on top.
  • Bake it in preheated oven on 180 degrees Celsius for 35 minutes. Take it out of the oven and leave to cool down, then slice and serve.
