This yummy pasta with ground beef meat is often at our table. The kids just love it.

I myself like to serve it as soon as possible because it is still very juicy, as over time the pasta absorbs the excess liquid and then dry out. And you can use other ground meat too if you like.

Serve it with generous amount of grated hard cheese or sour cream and, of course, a large bowl of green salad goes well with it. Sounds good?

Fusilli with ground beef meat

Cook Time 45 minutes
Servings 3 portions

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of spelt fusilli pasta
  • 200 grams of minced beef meat
  • Half a red onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Oregano
  • Celery leaves (dry spice or fresh leaves)
  • 1,5 deciliters of tomato puree
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • A pinch of sugar
  • Black pepper
  • Parsley
  • Half a deciliter of white wine
  • 40 grams of grated hard cheese

Instructions

  • Chop the red onion and sear it in a pan until glassy. Then add the meat and cook and stir it until it turns gray.
  • Add dry spices (bay leaf, celery, oregano, salt, pepper) and pour over the wine and cook until it evaporates. Then add the tomato puree, add a pinch of sugar and cook for at least 30 minutes. Stir if necessary and add a little more water, but make sure that the sauce thickens towards the end of cooking and it is not completely liquid.
  • During this time, cook the fusilli according to the packaging instructions.
  • Finally, add chopped parsley to the sauce, taste and, if necessary, add salt and pepper, and then stir in cooked fusilli.
Serve hot, add grated hard cheese or other as desired.
