red food dye (I used one Dr. Oetker Food Colour Gel Red, 10g)
200 grams of white chocolate drops (or chopped)
Instructions
Take softened butter and whip it up with sugar. Add in the egg and whip. Then add cocoa powder, pinch of salt, vanilla aroma and red food dye (I used one Dr. Oetker Food Colour Gel Red, 10g) and mix.
Then add in flour and baking powder and mix. I like to finish with kneading the dough with my hands on kitchen counter. Especially if the color is not blended in nicely.
At the end incorporate white chocolate drops, you knead it in little by little. You can leave your dough for 30 minutes in the refrigerator if you want or just go to baking straight away.
Shape cookie balls with your hand (about 1 table spoon of the dough) and place them on baking tray with baking paper. Leave enough space to let them spread. Bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius and take them out of the oven and leave them until cooled down so that they will get firm.
